1:00 p.m. 7th Annual Ken Karr/R.E. Lee-EMC/Big Huddle Reunion Golf Tournament (at Eagle Rock)

5:00 p.m. Registration EMC Big Huddle Alumni at Billings Hotel Convention Center Lobby

6:00 p.m. Reception with Inductees at Billings Hotel Convention Center Lobby

Entry fee for the public is $65 per player, includes cart and prizes, an NFL celeb will play with each team

Annual Big Huddle Reunion and Rally Coming Up August 6 and 7, 2015!

 

The 2015 Big Huddle Reunion and Rally promises to be entertaining, informational, and a good time for all!   Not only will attendees have a chance to catch up with EMC/MSUB alumni and friends, the event offers fishing and golfing, good food, excellent speakers, a well-known actor as emcee, recognition of local athletes, and exciting auction items!  What’s not to like?

The schedule for the weekend includes (see Itinerary link for more details):

·        Thursday, August 6

o   Brosovich Memorial Golf Outing at Pryor Creek Golf Club (9:00 AM)

o   Registration and Reunion Gathering at the Rock Pile on 27th Street and Poly Drive (4:00 PM)

·        Friday, August 7

o   John Kowalski River Float on the Big Horn River (8:00 AM)

o   Bob Lee/Ken Carr Open at Eagle Rock Golf Course (9:00 AM)

o   Press conference for “Year of the Student Athlete”  at Billings Hotel and Convention Center and viewing of auction items (4:00 PM)

o   Big Huddle Reunion and Rally Banquet at Billings Hotel and Convention Center (6:00 PM)

Banquet Highlights:

·        Guest Speaker, Butch Raymond - Multiple Hall of Fame Athletic Director and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Commissioner will share his passion for college athletics and his specific experience in reinstating a university football program.   Former EMC football player, Matt Palowski will introduce Butch.

·        Year of the Student Athlete – Recognition of outstanding local athletes

·        Question and Answer session – Opportunity for brief Q&A on the status of the Big Huddle progress in reinstating football, enhancing MSU-B athletics, and building a football stadium with multi-purpose field house

Auction Items – Lots of exciting items to choose from!

CSU PEUBLO TOUR AND GAME

This past football season members of the Big Huddle and representatives of Montana State University Billings traveled to watch a game and visit with individuals responsible for returning football to CSU. CSU won the National Championship last year. Techniques and strategies used by CSU have been discussed and incorporated into the Big Huddle's overall plan to return football to MSU-Billings.
